Grand Musical Tribute to Mukesh
To commemmorate the 31st death anniversary of legendary singer Mukesh music troupe M u s i c o l o r organised a grand musical tribute titled "Immortal Gems of Mukesh" on Saturday, 25th August at ISKCON auditorium, Juhu at 7:30pm. Talented singers Anand Bahal, Sarita Rajesh, Sanjay Tandon, Kiran Shembekar and Priya Joshi rendered evergreen songs from films like Awaara, Madhumati, Sangam, Anand, Mera Naam Joker, Jaagte Raho, Purab Aur Paschim and Rani Roopmati. The air was filled with nostalgia as songs like Zindagi khawb hai, Dil jalta hai, Aa ab laut chale, Dil ki nazar hai, Kahin door jab, Suhana safar, Aa laut ke aaja mere meet, O mere sanam, Woh subah kabhie to aayegi. Host Sandeep Kokil narrated several incidents related to the great singer and enthralled the audience. On the whole a splendid evening which is worth remembering !
